The 4-digit Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code that represents the economic activity of a company. Note the NAICS classification system replaced the SIC classification system in 1997. These SIC codes are no longer collected by some EPA programs. A list of codes may be found at the OSHA SIC System SearchExit.
