Select a filter in the dropdown. Each filter will produce the following result:

Only show information about source reduction activities: Shows activities initiated to reduce the quantities of toxic chemicals released (W-codes) and methods used to identify source reduction activities (T-codes)

Show information about source reduction AND other environmental practices: Shows information on source reduction activities and pollution prevention activities such as recycling, energy recovery and treatment.

Exclude facilities that reported activity codes but no text descriptions: Shows only data fields that include optional text provided by facilities on their source reduction or environmental practices. Previous filter options display records regardless of whether a facility provided text to explain their reporting.

Show information on barriers to implementing source reduction activities: Shows information facilities provided on barriers they face in implementing additional source reduction, recycling or pollution control activities.

Show ALL information reported in pollution prevention data fields: Shows all information submitted in TRI's pollution prevention data field (Form R Section 8.11) regardless of whether it applies to pollution prevention.

Under the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 (PPA), TRI collects information to track industry progress in reducing waste generation and moving towards safer waste management alternatives. Measures that facilities have taken to prevent pollution and reduce the amount of toxic chemicals entering the environment are shown in the table below. Although factors other than these reported practices contribute to year-to-year changes in releases, results are sorted by largest reduction in order to facilitate identification of pollution prevention successes. View the to learn about this report's features.

Note:
Click on the P2 Details Button to view detailed P2 information for the selected facility and chemical presented in tables and charts.
Click on the up and down arrows in the table header to sort the column.
Use the search box at the top right of the table, to perform a text search within the results below.

Acrylamide 325211: Plastics Material and Resin Manufacturing 2011 1.00 0 -100% The manufacturing process has a vapor capture system that directs process vents to air pollution control equipment. The air pollution control equipment is either a thermal oxidizer, or when that is not available, to a scrubber. This air pollution control equipment is in-line with manufacturing process equipment, and operates when the processing of TRI chemicals occurs. There is no provision for storage of this TRI chemical for subsequent processing. Air releases from air pollution control equipment are captured in Section 5.2 as stack or point source emissions, as the TRI instructions state.
