Other Barriers to Source Reduction - TMDPS is a hazardous and non-hazardous waste facility that accepts waste and waters from a wide variety of customers containing a variety of chemicals. The amounts processed, disposed of on-site, and sent off-site for further waste management is largely dependent on our waste receipts and the efforts of our customers to reduce the TRI compounds associated with the wastes they ship to us. Although it does not reduce overall TRI chemicals and compounds disposed of, we segregate incoming wastewaters to reduce the generation of filtration solids for disposal by landfill or incineration. |
