2009 Other Environmental Practices - *Polar Technology is a full service reclaimer of refrigerant. We recover and reuse refrigerant to reduce its potential impact on the environment. In the prior reporting years we have sent various HCFC's, HFC's and CFC's for destruction. See past reports for details.
2008 Other Environmental Practices - Polar Technology changed Chicago Climate Exchange membership to offset aggragator in 2008. Now we earn CFis through offset projects, like the 20720 lbs sent for destruction to Clean Harbors. We then donate these CFI's to support Nashville Events to help the city maintain a Zero Carbon Footprint. WE donated all the CFIs required to cover the Debate here in Nashville in 2008. Our company uses events like this to advertise the Zero Carbon Footprint concept and raise awareness.
