Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - Maleic Anhydride is one of our main raw materials. We have not found an alternative material to use. A majority of releases are to wastewater, which is treated offsite at Gulf Coast Waste Disposal. these releases are from equipment cleaning operations. We are a batch facility, so equipment is cleaned regularly when changing from product to product. We are investigating source reduction activities to reduce these releases.
