W13: Graphite and Grease wastewater source (Enterprise Oil Off-Site Transfer) was reduced due to maintenance revision to practices of quantities of grease used on forges. This resulted in a substantial decrease in our offsite shipments of this material. However, manganese content is already very low (1.01mg/L) for this material and not a large decrease in off-site transfers of total manganese was observed. Barriers to P2 - Recycling and source reduction remain a top priority for the facility and we are continuously looking for opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint. However, at this time, our raw material specifications for Mn content cannot be changed due to customer specifications. |
