Other Environmental Practices: Recycling - Storage tank and tanker truck ammonia filling or ambient emissions are directed through a hard piping to the ammonia scrubber containing demineralize water. Ammonia emissions are readily absorbed by the scrubber water. The scrubber water is routinely recycled back into the process and is used to make aqua ammonia solution. The reuse of scrubber water to make product eliminates any wastewater discharge from the process due to normal operations. |
