Barriers: B7-Barriers to P2 B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies.

Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - Using Nitric Acid eliminates the need to degas the vessel when using caustic. Nitric does not react with the CO2. Degassing takes approximately 10 hours. Failure to degas properly while using Caustic will cause the vessel to violently implode.

Barriers to P2: B3 - Concern that product quality may decline as a result of source reduction. - Closed loop system. Used for Clean in place purposes to control Micro.
