Other Environmental Practices: Recycling - We have a project this year to determine opportunities for improving recyclability of our compound scrap at the scrap dealer's facility.

With that said, our Research & Development team does review formulations to determine when substitutions are available and feasible for a particular product.

Source Reduction - An operations team was established to develop a more efficient production schedule to reduce the number and frequency of machine changeovers. By reducing the number of changeovers, he volume of waste has significantly reduces. A 50% reduction in off-site transfers was realized, compared to only a 17% reduction in production volume.
