S03: One of our main customers, Volvo, has made it their policy to go with steel (3% lead) for their parts manufacturiing. Our leaded steel use has decreased. Source Reduction - Our customers are requesting lead free raw materials in their finsished products. Source Reduction - Customers are mandating decreased use of leaded steel (3% max) used in our products and aasemblies. Source Reduction - Environmental programs and sustainability are becoming more and more prevalent as companies are embracing the principles of ESG and demanding more from their suppliers. |
