All Koppers facilities have on going waste minimization plans and share best practices for source reduction. Facilities implement training and awareness programs for all employees. Over the past two decades, Koppers has made many improvements and changes to reduce the amount of preservative used, recycled, and disposed. Koppers has also made changes to the creosote composition (PACs are a component of creosote) to reduce the volatility and air emissions. |
