Source Reduction - This facility is transitioning to lead free production technology. In early 2006, trw auburn received it's first lead free wave solder line. When this line is fully comissioned, it will reduce our lead releases as much as 15%. Our long range strategy includes replacing all existing lines over the next several years, which will reduce our lead releases by approximately 60%. Our company directive is to be lead free in 10 years.
