Barriers to P2: B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas - Wet end scrubber is a packed tower which uses 22% NaOH as media to remove chlorine from the plant's Wet End process. Two (2) Entollator scrubbers provide chlorine removal from process discharges. Stack emissions from wet scrubber operations were tested. It was determined that an increase in the flow of scrubber liquor to the first stage of a two-stage stack reduced emissions. New emission factors have been proposed. |
