W13: Company implemented a Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) Program which uses testing and employee knowledge of the processes to predict when things should be replaced or repaired before they break. Source Reduction - As a part of TPM, everyone has a say in it in order for the Maintenance Mgr to make his maintenance schedule. Source Reduction - Even lower level employees get to provide input into TPM from their experience in order to make better planning decisions. Source Reduction - A lot of charts and graphs are generated, shared with upper mgt, and posted to show successes and where more work needs to be done. Other Environmental Practices: General Environmental Management - Am implementing a Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) Program used to predict frequent issues and put resources, programs, Work Order's, etc. in place to address them such as failures like spills, leaks, etc. Additionally, all of our Maintenance Technicians will be receiving Certified Maintenance Reliability Training. Am also implementing a new Env. Mgt System based on ISO 14001 and have trained up Internal Auditors to plan, Do, Check, Act the whole system. |
