Other Environmental Practices - Metal alloy reclamation water is treated by chemical precipitation compound after each shift collection. Treated water is sieve filtered prior to discharge to sanitary sewer. Metals sludges are collected for off-site metals recovery shipments. Began collection of all tape used for front-side lens surface protection for metals alloy reclamation. Metal alloy in flakes and tabs will adhere to tape backing when removed. Dedicated work station to lens tape removal and proper disposal. |
