Source Reduction - For solid waste streams sent to landfill, we had a 6% decrease for barium. This is due to a lower volume of porcelain frit / ground coat material usage and a lower volume of dewatered solids in 2016 and therefore less disposed to landfill. Source Reduction - For POTW loading, we had a 44% decrease for lbs of barium. This is due to new analytical collected during our industrial user's / self-monitoring reporting throughout the year - decrease of barium in our industrial effluent to the city. |
