Source Reduction - A container management procedure was implemented to ensure drum and IBC containers are cleaned and stored properly and recycled by a reputable company. Anode baskets were were modified to allow for lower volumes of raw material on site. Bi-weekly inspections were implemented to help prevent and detect chemical releases from containers and containment basins. The production team Implemeted a procedure for reusing used preocess material that was previously treated onsite and precipitated sludges transferred offsite for recycling. |
