2008 | Source Reduction - We continue to train our employees to be certified composites technicians through our industry organization: american composites manufacturers association. This certification gives the employee an understanding of controlled spraying techniques, among many other things, which will reduce waste and overspray, reducing emissions. We are just about half way through successfull certification of our employees. In late 2008 we switched to a new gelcoat that is 19 percent lower in styrene resulting in a 5 percent decrease in overall emissions had we used it for all of 2008. | ||
