Source Reduction - Goodrich Cargo Systems installed a new high efficiency vapor degreaser in November 2009. As part of the vapor degreaser replacement project Goodrich Cargo Systems discontinued the use of Tetrachloroethylene as the degreasing solvent and adopted N-Propyl Bromide as the replacement solvent. N-Propyl Bromide is a suitable replacement degreasing solvent to replace chloronated solvents under the US EPA's SNAP program. Goodrich Cargo Systems therefore does not anticipate using Tetrachloroethylene in RY2010 or beyond. |
