Pollution Prevention Activities for Selected Chemical

Reporting Year Section 8.10: Newly Implemented Source Reduction Activity Section 8.10: Methods to Identify Activity Section 8.11: Optional Pollution Prevention Information*
2019 Barriers: B8-Barriers to P2 B8 - A reduction does not appear to be technically feasible

Barriers to P2: B8 - A reduction does not appear to be technically feasible - The small amount of this comes from washing the transfer valve when we repackage.

2017 Barriers: B7-Barriers to P2 B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies.

Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - Transfer filling of smaller drums from IBC's necessarily requires use of equipment such as funnels. These need maintenance (washing) to keep product quality.

2016 Barriers: B7-Barriers to P2 B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies.

Source Reduction: Source Reduction - Repackaging of product by gravity feed from vendor's container allows minimization of waste.

Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - The procedure of taking product in IBC's (Totes) and repackaging by filling smaller containers (a handful of drums and totes) is the least handling and loss we have found. We do not formulate a product with this material. Simple re-packaging of a small amount over the course of a year.
