W19: Recirculating quench tank water without discharge to POTW. Discovered quench water quality was unaffected by eliminating discharge. Source Reduction - Management evaluated employee input and completed trial to determine feasibility, which was later determined feasible. Source Reduction - Employee suggested eliminating discharge as a cost-saving measure. Other Environmental Practices: General Environmental Management - Elimination of wastewater stream to POTW eliminated completely our lead discharge to POTW. |
