2022 |
Barriers: B6-Barriers to P2 B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas
|
Barriers to P2: B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas - We continue to implement internal QA/QC procedures to minimize generation of off-spec product and have implemented product recovery/re-work procedures when possible. |

Barriers: B6-Barriers to P2 B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas
Barriers: B7-No Information B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. |
Barriers to P2: B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas - Current off-spec product recovery and QC procedures implemented have meet what this facility is technically capable of meeting. |

Barriers: B6-Barriers to P2 B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas
|
Barriers to P2: B6 - Pollution prevention previously implemented - additional reduction does not appear technically or economically feas - Production efficiencies, product recovery and quality control procedures have been implemented to the best the technology in place will allow. |

2018 |
Barriers: B7-Barriers to P2 B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies.
|
Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - sec butyl alcohol is one of the primary raw materials used in production of our products. There is no viable alternative to its use. |

2015 |
Barriers: B7-Barriers to P2 B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies.
|
Barriers to P2: B7 - No known substitutes or alternative technologies. - required raw material for end product production. Production efficiencies have maximized. |

2014 |
Other Environmental Practices: Waste Treatment - Production efficiences and a shift to hydrolysis of the produced chloroformate resulted in a shift towards off-site disposal of the raw material to our POTW |

2012 |
Other Barriers to Source Reduction - TRI reportable releases sec-butyl alcohol are primarily a result of hydrolysis of sec-butyl chloroformate. This has the effect of creating a less toxic compound for subsequent treatment. The remainder of the releases, primarily wastes sent off-site for incineration, are minimized through production improvements aimed at increases product yields. |
