Column Name: RELEASE_NA


Description: Indicates whether 'NA' (Not Applicable) was entered on Form R for the release estimate. Values: 1 = 'Yes', 0 = 'No'. Descriptions by Form R Section number for each environmental medium follow.

5.1 Indicates that due to the design of the facility or establishment or the physical properties of the toxic chemical, it is not possible to have fugitive or non-point air emissions.

5.2 Indicates that there are either no confined air streams, such as stacks, vents, ducts, or pipes, at the facility or that because of the facility design or the physical properties of the toxic chemical, it is not possible for the toxic chemical to be present in those air streams.

5.3 Indicates that the facility does not discharge the toxic chemical to surface water bodies.

5.4.1 Indicates that the facility does not inject the toxic chemical into a Class I Underground Injection Well onsite.

5.4.2 Indicates that the facility does not inject the toxic chemical into a Class II-IV Underground Injection Well onsite.

5.5.1A Indicates there are no releases to landfills which are authorized under RCRA to accept hazardous waste for disposal (i.e., RCRA Subtitle C landfills).

5.5.1B Indicates that there are no releases to non-hazardous waste landfills (i.e., RCRA Subtitle C landfills) at the facility.

5.5.2 Indicates there are no releases to land treatment or application farming operations at the facility.

5.5.3 Indicates there are no releases to surface impoundments at the facility.

5.5.4 Indicates that there are no on-site land releases (e.g., spills or leaks of the chemical to land) other than those reported in sections 5.5.1 through 5.5.3.
