S44: Our largest opportunity is continued training for our newer workforce employees. Improving our process with updated equipment and materials is required in the chemical industry and fresh eyes for risks and opportunities are an ideal situation to be in because there is always room to improve and train. Source Reduction - We continue our certification for ISO 9001 & 14001 to meet customer demands. With these it also means constant improvement to our processes. Currentely we are improving our production areas to become more efficient and safer in what we do. The most important piece is communication and training which includes daily risk assessments and identifying challenges. |

The waste management hierarchy established by the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA) guides waste generators toward the best options for managing wastes.
The preferred option is to prevent pollution at its source, but for waste that is generated, the preferred management methods are recycling, followed
by burning for energy recovery, treatment and, as a last resort, disposing of the waste.
