As a result of the TRI Reporting Forms Modification Rule, beginning in reporting year 2005, the Toxics Release Inventory Program is no longer collecting latitude and longitude data or EPA program ID data (Including Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) IDs, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) IDs AND Underground Injection Code (UIC) IDs) via the FORM R or FORM A Certification Statement. However, this data will still be made available to TRI data users and will be included in TRI data Reports. For those Reports, this data will be obtained from the Facility Registry System (FRS). Latitude and longitude coordinates used to represent TRI facilities are chosen from the FRS using the "Pick Best" Process.
