Under the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 (PPA), TRI collects information to track industry progress in reducing waste generation and moving towards safer waste management alternatives. Measures that facilities have taken to prevent pollution and reduce the amount of toxic chemicals entering the environment are shown in the table below. Although factors other than these reported practices contribute to year-to-year changes in releases, results are sorted by largest reduction in order to facilitate identification of pollution prevention successes. Methods to Identify SR Opportunities: T04 : PARTICIPATIVE TEAM MANAGEMENT - Audit improvements have been made as team include the use of barcode scanners, niton guns, and better tracking. This allowed real time data and no ability to lose questionable parts. Tracking items to close. Methods to Identify SR Opportunities: T03 : MATERIALS BALANCE AUDITS - 2 Audits have been done in the six month time frame to clean up and account for the inventory.

Other Environmental Practices: Recycling - We work to send as much of our materials for direct metals recovery and reuse. This means no direct releases of the TRI chemicals which is the best option. Continued improvements in streams continue to increase recycling options.
